Acofi makes first deal for green infrastructure loan fund

Paris based boutique Acofi Gestion has completed its first deal for its Predirec EnR 2030 loan fund, dedicated to the financing of renewable energy infrastructures.

The manager will invest €12.5m over 12 years in five wind farms managed by French renewable energy business Valorem’s branch Valemo located in the north of France.

The annual production of these five wind farms covers the electric consumption of 32,000 French households and cuts 81,000 tons of carbon emissions.

The Predirec EnR 2030 fund is managed by Eric Manchon and has been recently awarded the TEEC label (Transition Energétique et Ecologique pour le Climat) by the French ministry of Environment.

It seeks a 5% annual net return and has currently €45m in assets under management.
