Amiral Gestion appoints fund manager

Paris-based boutique Amiral Gestion has appointed Audrey Bacrot as portfolio manager.

Bacrot joined the firm in May 2017. Prior to joining Amiral Gestion, she served during five years as small-mid cap portfolio manager-analyst at Indépendance & Expansion Sicav, a European listed small-mid cap equity fund managed by Luxembourg-based company Stanwahr, which is owned by Evalfi.

Bacrot has also been a European equity portfolio manager and analyst at CM-CIC Asset Management.

It is not known yet which strategies Bacrot will be handed at Amiral Gestion.

Among strategies, the firm runs a European small-mid cap fund Sextant PME, managed by Raphael Moreau, that will be soon hard-closed.

Amiral Gestion, which has some €3.2bn of assets under management, told InvestmentEurope in June that it is currently considering the establishment of a Sicav either domiciled in Luxembourg or in France.
