Amplegest names co-AM business development head

Paris-based asset manager Amplegest has appointed Jean-François Castellani as head of Business Development for its asset management segment.

He will work alongside another Alain Ferry who holds the same position.

Castellani joins from Barclays Capital where he spent over eight years as sales director for quantitative index solutions and structured products on the French market.

Prior to that, he served as sales director responsible for Ucits funds and structured products on the French market with Compagnie financière Edmond de Rothschild Financial Services (known as EdRAM today).

Castellani started his career at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking in 1999 before being appointed in the marketing team of Lyxor Asset Management.

Amplegest’s fund range is comprised of nine funds. The company was established in 2007.
