Amplegest to merge with SGI Management

French asset manager Amplegest has announced its merger with SGI Management, a boutique with €250m of assets under management.

SGI Management has been founded in 1984 and is applying a patrimonial management approach that relies on direct line investments and fund selection for its two funds Adara and IntermiX.

Amplegest has been launched in 2007. It manages around €650m in assets and oversees €450m in assets for high-net-worth families. With the merger, Amplegest will manage over €900m.

SGI Management’s founder Jacques Bruxer will become a shareholder of Financière Amplegest and join Amplegest’s supervisory board. The teams (25 employees in total) will be reunited at the start of 2016 in Amplegest offices.

The French financial markets’ regulator AMF has approved the transaction in October.
