Amundi appoints deputy CIO

Amundi has announced the appointment of Vincent Mortier as deputy chief investment officer.

He will also become a member of the executive committee.

Mortier joined the Societe Generale group in 1996. He has held several senior positions such as chief financial officer of the Global Banking and Investor Solutions (GBIS) division in 2013.

He also worked as CFO of Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking (SG CIB), co-head of Equity Finance (SG CIB), deputy head of Equity Finance (SG CIB) and head of Strategy and Development – Global Equities and Derivatives Solutions (SG CIB).

Amundi has more than €950bn in assets under management as at 31 March 2015.
