AXA IM names senior portfolio manager in Paris multi-asset team

AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) has promoted Mathieu L’Hoir to senior portfolio manager for its Paris-based multi-asset management team.

L’Hoir worked hitherto as senior equity strategist for AXA IM. Among other responsabilities, he was head of the Equity Alpha Group in charge of the region, country, sector and style based equity allocation within AXA IM multi asset-funds,  focusing on alpha generation and portfolio construction.

Before joining AXA IM, he held several roles at Societe Generale as deputy head of Economic and Regulatory Capital at Societe Generale from 2010 to 2012 and as project manager, quantitative credit risk analysis with a focus on large corporate credit portfolios from 2003 to 2006.

L’Hoir also worked as deputy head of Investment Research, Equity Markets at HSBC Global AM from 2006 to 2010. He started his career as quantitative analyst at Standard and Poor’s in 2002.
