BFT Gestion hires head of Asset Management

Amundi’s boutique BFT Gestion has appointed Michaël Aflalo as head of Asset Management.

Aflalo joins from Natixis AM where he was more recently head of Institutional and Networks Solutions.

Between 2001 and 2010, he worked for AXA IM as head of Asset Allocation on total return and flexible funds.

He started his career in 1997 at Crédit Mutuel Finance where he managed formula-based and profiled funds before being appointed as diversified portfolio manager at Crédit Agricole Asset Management in 1999.

BFT Gestion had €17bn in assets under management as at 31 December 2014.
