BFT IM launches new multi-asset fund

Amundi’s boutique BFT Investment Managers has launched the Amundi Funds BFT Optimal Income, which is a multi-asset fund.

It seeks to outperform Eonia by 5% over a three-year period and to achieve a 3% yield annually.

The equities’ bucket of the fund could go up to 30% maximum while exposure to high yield bonds is limited to 50%.

Risk exposure will be actively managed as the fund applies a patrimonial approach.

The Amundi Funds BFT Optimal Income is co-managed by bond fund manager Michel Zatarain and equity manager Fabrice Masson.

Both will be supported by Amundi’s credit and equity research teams as well as by ‎senior multi-asset portfolio manager Zacharia Darouich.
