BPCE reappoints François Pérol as chairman of the management board

French banking group Banque Populaire Caisses d’Epargne (BPCE) that owns Natixis Asset Management has renewed the term of François Pérol (pictured) as chairman of the group’s management board for a period of four years.

This four-year term will expire at the close of the general shareholders’ meeting, due to be held in May 2020, called to approve financial statements for the fiscal year ended 31 December 2019.

The supervisory board has asked Pérol to form a new management board for 16 November, at the occasion of the next supervisory board meeting.

On 1 August 2009, Pérol became chairman of the management Board of Groupe BPCE, born out of the completed merger between Caisse Nationale des Caisses d’Epargne (CNCE) and Banque Fédérale des Banques Populaires (BFBP).
