Carmignac appoints Ventura as Italy country head
Carmignac Gestion has appointed Giorgio Ventura has country head for Italy, to further develop the firm’s relations with financial institutions and intermediaries in Italy.
Ventura (pictured) began his career as trader of the Treasury team of Caboto Securities, Intesa Group, in London and worked for 8 years for Lehman Brothers in London and Milan where his latest role was executive director. He has also worked at joined Eurizon Capital in Milan for three years.
He started in the new role on September 17 and will work under the responsibility of Davide Fregonese, global head of sales and marketing
Founded by Edouard Carmignac and headquartered in Paris, Carmignac Gestion is present in 10 European coutries and has offices in Germany, Luxembourg, Madrid, London and Milan. It has about €50bn assets under management.
