Carmignac hires Pfab to strengthen capabilities in Germany and Austria
Carmignac Gestion has appointed Cora Pfab as sales manager for Southern Germany and Austria.
Pfab’s role will be to develop the company’s relations with clients in the South of Germany and Austria, working under the responsibility of Kai Volkmann, country head for Germany and Austria.
Before joining Carmignac Gestion, she was sales manager for Germany at F&C Thames River in London. She was previously at ABN Amro Asset Management.
“With the hire of Cora Pfab and the recent opening of its office in Frankfurt, Carmignac Gestion strengthens its local presence in Germany and enhances its relationships with financial distributors and institutional investors through a tailor-made regional approach,” the company said in a statement.
Additional staff is expected to be recruited through the rest of the year.
Carmignac, founded by Edouard Carmignac (pictured) has over €50bn of assets under management, and it has 18 funds covering all asset classes.
Funds are actively marketed in 11 European countries: France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Austria, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
