Catella adds French property to business portfolio
Catella, the financial services group originated out of Sweden, is setting up a property asset management business in France from early next year.
The business will be led by François Brisset, head of Property Asset Management in France, and previously managing director and co-founder of DTZ Asset Management.
Catella already offers property advisory services in the French market, but the new business will focus on investment management, asset management and property management on behalf of French and foreign investors. The group added that the property asset management platform will be independent of the property advisory services, with a separate office.
François Brisset said: “To meet a growing demand from investors for secure and tailor-made investments, it is our intention to structure, host and manage investment vehicles on behalf of third-party investors. We will be active within commercial real estate and residential.”
Some €2bn out of Catella’s existing €5bn AUM across Euorpe is in property.
