US real estate investment firm CBRE Global Investors has appointed Gautier Beurnier as head of Investments France.

He will be in charge of the sourcing and execution of acquisitions for local and pan-european funds as well as for international retail clients through clubs deals and separated mandates.

Beurnier has over 20 years of experience in real estate and risk management. He moved from the French real estate developer and asset manager Atemi, where he was president.

He also worked for Unibail in Paris and Marsh in New York, where he gained experience in risk management.

At Atemi, Beurnier managed €2bn of assets and directed the financing of major real estate projects such as Coeur Défense, the biggest European office building.

John Mulgueen, head of Investments, EMEA at CBRE Global Investors, said 2015 will be an important year as the firms plans to make €7bn of investments in the EMEA zone.

“France is a priority market for us,” he added.

CBRE Global Investors has $90.6bn in assets under management as at 31 December 2014 and over 370 offices accross the world.
