China analyst quits OFI AM for Carmignac
Carmignac Gestion has announced that Haiyan Li-Labbé, formerly head of the Asian markets team at OFI Asset Management, is to join its emerging markets team as Greater China markets analyst.
Li-Labbé’s departure from OFI AM has been prompted by Carmignac strengthening its efforts in the emerging markets.
Carmignac has recently announced the launch of its Carmignac Emerging Patrimoine fund, the third fund in Carmignac’s patrimoine range, which also includes Carmignac Patrimoine and Carmignac Euro-Patrimoine.
Before joining OFI AM Li-Labbé was a convertible bonds analyst at Société Générale Investment Banking.
Carmignac Gestion, established in 1989 by founder Edouard Carmignac, today has nearly €50bn in assets under management and runs 19 funds. Its clients include independent and financial advisors, private investors, institutions and banks.
