Cordea Savills expands its operation in France
Property firm Cordea Savills has strengthened its presence in France with the appointment of Clement Pigott as Head of Investment, France and Benelux.
Pigott (pictured) is also Président of the newly established French entity, Cordea Savills SAS.
The firm said the appointment reflects the growing importance of France to existing and prospective investors and the increasing assets under the firm’s management in the wider French and BeNeLux region.
Cordea Savills has also moved to a new office, located at 36, avenue Hoche, in the Etoile district of Paris (75008) from its previous office on rue du Faubourg St. Honoré.
Piggott, who reports to Richard Lake, Head of Investment, Europe, has more than 20 years’ experience in European property investment markets, having worked for MAB group, Archon group (Goldman Sachs), UFG Credit Mutuel and originally JLW in Paris.
Since 2005 he has run a boutique advisory business, handling asset management, leasing, sales and acquisitions and also covering the legal, fiscal and accounting aspects of corporate property ownership. He is fluent in German and English as well as his native French.
Lake commented thatFrance is an increasingly important property market. “Investors see it as one of the safer havens in Europe, offering quality assets and reliable streams of income.”
