Equity fund manager exits French boutique
Paris-based boutique Tocqueville Finance has recently seen the departure of equity fund portfolio manager Didier Roman, InvestmentEurope has learned.
The move has been confirmed to InvestmentEurope by the firm, which said Roman left at the start of August to focus on other projects after a 15-year stint with Tocqueville Finance.
He was the lead manager on the Tocqueville PME and the Tocqueville Odyssée funds. Roman has since been replaced by Alexandre Voisin as fund manager on both funds. Matthieu Tassy is also a co-portfolio manager on the Tocqueville PME fund.
The departure of Roman follows last June’s announcement of La Banque Postale Asset Management (LBPAM) of the full integration of Tocqueville Finance, it had acquired in 2009.
During the first quarter of the year, Stéphane Nières‐Tavernier and Yann Giordmaïna were also hired as equity portfolio and mandate managers.
