Fund manager exits Amiral Gestion

Equity portfolio manager Audrey Bacrot has left French boutique Amiral Gestion in January 2018 following a nine-month stint with the firm, InvestmentEurope has learned.

Bacrot had been appointed in May 2017 by Amiral Gestion where she brought her expertise on French small and midcap listed companies.

It is understood that in March, Bacrot returned as a fund manager to Luxembourg-based asset manager Stanwahr, owned by French company Evalfi, she left for Amiral Gestion in 2017 after serving more than five years as portfolio manager-analyst.

At Stanwahr, Bacrot is a co-portfolio manager of the Indépendance & Expansion Sicav, an active French listed small-mid cap equity fund, alongisde William Higgons.

The Indépendance & Expansion Sicav had €386.5m in assets under management as of 31 January 2018.
