Fidelity International reshuffles team in France

Fidelity International has announced several appointments within its French subsidiary, all effective as from 1 January 2016.

Christophe Gloser, currently in charge of Fidelity’s Swiss and French offices and chairman of FIL Gestion, the French asset management branch of Fidelity, has been named head of Wholesale for Continental Europe and LatAm.

All commercial activities of Fidelity in Continental Europe and LatAm will be run under his management. It includes activities towards banks, third party firms, asset managers and IFAs.

Gloser will be replaced by Jean-Denis Bachot as managing director of Fidelity’s office in Paris and chairman of FIL Gestion. Bachot is currently head of Marketing and Communication at Fidelity International in France and CEO of FIL Gestion.

Jean-Marc Didier will take over the role of Bachot as CEO of FIL Gestion. Didier is currently in charge of sales for institutional clients and companies of Fidelity International in France.

Commercial director Cédric Michel will become commercial director Wholesale of Fidelity International in France.

Prior to joining InvestmentEurope, he spent almost five years writing for various publications in Monaco, primarily as a criminal and financial court reporter. Before that, he worked for newspapers and radio stations in France, in particular in Lyon.
