French boutique adds one to short term credit team

French boutique La Financière de la Cité has appointed Nadia Bensaci within its short term credit portfolio management team.

Reporting to head of Short Term Credit Lionel Antoinat, she will be working on the existing short term credit strategies, in particular the firm’s Copal flagship fund that has €223.67m of assets under management as of 31 August 2016.

Emmanuel Sales, chairman of la Financière de la Cité, said Bensaci’s appointment will allow the firm to implement new investment strategies in the short term credit space.

Bensaci joins from Palatine Asset Management where she was a fixed income portfolio manager focused on money markets and short/medium term credit since 2006. She held a number of funds and mandates such as Palatine Institutions and Palatine Moma.

She started her career in 2000 at SGAM Alternative Investment where she specialised in private debt and credit derivatives.

Established in 2005, La Financière de la Cité manages around €2bn of assets.
