French boutique appoints global thematic equity fund manager

Paris based equity boutique Vestathena has appointed Sandrine Cauvin as portfolio manager.

She manages two global thematic equity funds : Energie 2025, which is invested in global equities of the energy sector, and Ambre, invested in global equities of mining and gold sectors.

Cauvin joined from Turgot Asset Management, where she managed the Turgot Pure Energy Fund and the Rainbow fund dedicated to the LGBT community.

Prior to joining Turgot, she worked at Craigston Finance where she was portfolio manager of the Craigston Pure Energy fund.

She also held a number of analyst positions, first on the sell-side, at CCF Securities, Kepler Cheuvreux and Raymond James, then on the buy-side at Adi Alternative Investment.

Established in 2014, Vestathena has €300m in assets under management and currently runs six equity funds.
