French boutiques CPG and Bouvier Gestion merge
French boutiques Conseil Plus Gestion (CPG) and Bouvier Gestion have announced their merger following the agreement of the French market authority AMF and approval from shareholders in an extraordinary general assembly that occurred on 8 July 2016.
CPG, which is headquartered in Aix-en-Provence, had had already a 28% stake in Bouvier Gestion’s capital since July 2015.
Estblished in 1999, it specialises in mandates’ management (around 300 clients) and fund management for institutional and private clients. In addition, it has a non-listed asset management business.
CPG notably runs the Valeurs Feminines Ucits fund that focuses on stocks of European companies that have women on their administration board and in their management as well as sectors that draw women consumers.
Bouvier Gestion, founded in 1990, focuses on private wealth management, insurance life management and also collective management through Luxembourg-domiciled Sicav compartments.
The new entity will run under the name CP and will manage around €300m in assets.
CPG adds the expertise of Bouvier Gestion in private wealth management and Luxembourg-domiciled Sicavs in order to create a Sicav that will gather several funds.
Following the merger, CPG has kept its headquarters in Aix-en-Provence and has now an office in Paris.
