French group expands IFA business through acquisition

Paris-based financial group Union Financière de France (UFF) said its IFA dedicated branch CGP Entrepreneurs has reached an agreement to acquire France’s largest IFA company Infinitis.

Infinitis has been founded in 2009 by Bruno Delpeut. It includes over 250 consultants and 350 CGPI (French independent financial advisers), managing overall over €4bn in assets as of end December 2015 and advising more than 11,500 clients.

Bruno Dell’Oste, CEO of CGP Entrepreneurs, said the company seeks to give French IFAs the opportunity to turn themselves into a whole patrimonial services provider.

The deal is in line with the 2020 strategic plan set by UFF.

UFF offers a range of products relying on open-architecture. Fund selection is operated by UFF’s investment arm Myria Asset Management.
