French IFA teams up with Rothschild HDF for FoF launch

Paris-based independent financial advisor K&P Finance has partnered with Rothschild HDF Investment Solutions, part of Rothschild & Cie, to launch the Kilimandjaro fund.

This diversified fund of funds, domiciled in France, relies on an open architecture fund selection operated by Rothschild AM’s portfolio managers Stéphane de Kermoal et Marc Terras, who pick funds from Rothschild HDF’s buy-list composed of over 300 funds as of 1 May 2017.

The FoF is advised by K&P Finance-Placium and will hold around 15 positions. It can exposed between 20% and 60% to equities while the fund’s fixed income exposure will be comprised between 40% and 80%.

Only one position of the initial composition of the FoF is a strategy run by Rothschild AM.

It will seek to outperform its composite benchmark (40% MSCI World TR in EURO DR & 40% JP Morgan GBI EMU DR & 20% EONIA capitalised) on a rolling five-year period.

The Kilimandjaro fund is currently available on insurance life platforms such as Cardif, AEP and SwissLife.

K&P Finance was launched in 2007 and manages assets of more than €150m.
