Groupama AM posts €4.5bn inflows in eight months

The investment arm of French insurer Groupama, Groupama Asset Management, has reported it has drawn €4.5bn of net new inflows from external clients between January and end of August 2016.

Groupama AM has bolstered its presence in the Spanish and Italian markets. Assets under management of the firm in Spain have exceeded the €1bn threshold.

The company stressed first inflows have come from Chili through partnerships established earlier this year while there has been a marketing push in French-speaking Europe areas.

Overall, foreign clients’ AUM at Groupama AM currently total €10.3bn.

Philippe Setbon, CEO of Groupama AM, added that the firm has reached the €100bn AUM cap for the first time as at 31 August 2016.
