Henderson GI to distribute SRI fund in France

UK-headquartered investment firm Henderson Global Investors (Henderson GI) has announced that the company has been authorised to distribute its SRI fund, Henderson Global Care Growth, in France.

The vehicle, launched in 1991, comprises global equities and co-managed actively by Hamish Chamberlayne and Nick Anderson. It invests in 60 to 80 listed companies with a focus on mid cap, whom activities and products are linked to current global trends such as ageing, climate change, demographic growth and the management of natural resources.

Assets are allocated in five environmental themes, such as water management and clean energies, and in five societal sectors like education and real estate access.

Almost £400m (€555.45m) were invested in Henderson Global Care Growth as at 30 March 2015.

Patricia Kaveh, head of Sales, France, Monaco and Geneva, said that in 2014, ESG criterias have been extended to all investement process of Henderson GI.

Henderson GI has signed the six principles for responsible investment (PRI) of the United Nations organisation.

Founded in 1934, the firm has €100.4bn of assets under management of clients based in United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and North America.
