HSBC France names head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management

HSBC France has hired Thomas Vandeville as head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management.

Vandeville will be responsible for conducting the digital transformation of HSBC France’s retail banking and wealth management divisions that tally over 800,000 clients.

Prior to joining HSBC France, Vandeville was in charge of the digital transformation of French insurer Groupama and CEO of Amaline since 2014.

He held a number of positions within Groupama’s group since 2005, including CEO of Groupama Gan Patrimoine.

Vandeville started his career as derivatives analyst at Exane before moving to Merrill Lynch & Co in 1996 as investment bank analyst within the firm’s M&A department. He also worked for consultant McKinsey from 1999 to 2005.
