Invesco Real Estate makes hire to lead asset management in Europe
Invesco Real Estate (IRE) has announced that Etienne Dupuy has joined as Senior Director – Asset Management, Europe to spearhead the firm’s European asset management initiatives including managing the existing team of 16 asset managers located “on-the-ground” across Europe.
“We are very fortunate to have Etienne join our team. He brings over 17 years’ accomplished strategic real estate experience from across all disciplines, focused on generating performance for clients. His extensive knowledge of the pan-European real estate markets has been gained through a number of different market cycles and at high profile real estate firms, so we are delighted to have someone of his calibre join our team,” said Andy Rofe, Managing Director of IRE.
Etienne Dupuy, who will be based in IRE’s Paris office, comments: “I am very pleased to join IRE and am looking forward to working closely with the asset management team and partners across Europe to further create and add value to IRE’s clients’ new and existing investments throughout the market, building and lease life-cycles.
“In my experience, asset management is a strong contributor to a client’s trust in their investment manager because in essence this is where the performance is crafted. I am therefore thrilled to have the opportunity to work for an independent investment manager who has an impressive portfolio of varied assets and is exceedingly active in the pan-European marketplace, given that IRE has transacted and is in advanced due diligence on over c.€1bn of deals in 2014 already.”
Etienne joins from BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Services where he spent the past five years as managing director and previous to this spent nine years with AXA Real Estate Investment Managers.
