KBL Richelieu Gestion names new asset management head
Paris based KBL Richelieu Gestion has promoted Pascal Bernachon as head of Asset Management.
Bernachon succeeds Nathalie Martin-Pelras, who departs the group after 22 years.
Bernachon joined KBL Richelieu in 2004 as mandates’ manager and market strategist before being appointed portfolio manager of the KBL Richelieu Flexible Sicav and KBL Richelieu Gestion’s strategist.
Prior to that, he worked at Finter Bank group between 2001 and 2004 as deputy CEO in charge of private banking and chairman of Finter Gestion.
Bernachon started his career in 1979 managing mandates for Banque Louis-Dreyfus. He then moved to Barclays Bank in 1986 where he was managing mandates for the private wealth management division.
He held asset management head roles at Desdner Bank and Banque Générale du Phénix et du Crédit Chimique.
KBL Richelieu Gestion will be communicating under the Richelieu Investment Funds name, which is the in-house funds’ brand of Luxembourg-headquartered KBL European Private Bankers group, which owns the asset manager, but its company name remains unchanged.
Tallying €4bn of AUM as at end August 2016, Richelieu Investment Funds provides more than 50 funds.
