La Financière de l’Echiquier has announced the appointment of Emmanuel Kragen as asset allocation manager. This role has been newly created by the Paris-based firm.

Kragen reports to Marc Craquelin, head of Asset Management. He moved from Exane Derivatives where he has been working as global economist and strategist within the asset allocation team since 2008.

Formerly, he joined Exane in 2000 as senior economist and strategist in the economic research and investment strategy division. Kragen started his career at Societe Generale as bank analyst and then became emerging markets economist. He then worked at BNP Paribas where he held the position of US economist.

La Financière de l’Echiquier currently manages €8.7bn in assets.
