Lazard Frères Gestion launches rate hike linked European equity fund

Lazard Frères Gestion has launched the Lazard Equity Expansion fund invested in European large and mid-cap stocks and targeting both retail and institutional investors.

This fund is co-managed by Axel Laroza and Arnaud Brossard and tracks stocks that either benefit from rate hikes or that are a little correlated to interest rates’ variations.

It aims to make profit of the Fedreral Reserve and Bank of England’s rate hikes, that are likely to happen by the end of the year, as well as of the end of the ECB quantitative easing policy in 2016.

Lazard Frères Gestion managed €17.4bn in assets as at 30 June 2015.
