LFDE launches AI fund

Paris-based boutique La Financière de l’Echiquier will launch the Echiquier Artificial Intelligence fund as from 19 June in Luxembourg and in France by end June. Further registrations across Europe will follow.

The fund invests globally in stocks of companies that develop or benefit from artificial intelligence. Sub-themes include AI developers, AI users, AI infrastructures and companies developing AI senses.

It is run by Rolando Grandi, co-manager of the Echiquier World Equity Growth fund and manager of the FCM Robotique fund.

The fund is domiciled in Luxembourg as sub-fund of the Echiquier Fund Sicav.

Said LFDE’s fund manager Grandi, artificial intelligence should add some €13.5trn to the global economy by 2030, the economic equivalent of the European Union.
