LFDE renames convertible bond fund

French boutique La Financière de l’Echiquier has rebranded its Echiquier Convertibles Europe fund to Echiquier Convexité Europe.

The change occurred on 9 March 2018.

The firm said the change reflects a better description of the fund investment philosophy that is not limited to convertible bonds. Half of the fund’s equity sensitivity is comprised of options, convexity therefore refers to both asset classes.

The investment policy of the fund, run by Emmanuel Martin and Guillaume Jourdan, remains unchanged. Launched in October 2006, the fund had €204m of assets under management as of end February 2018.
