Lyxor names chief retail and digital officer

French boutique Lyxor AM has appointed Christian Theulot (pictured) as chief retail and digital officer.

In this newly created position, Theulot is responsible for speeding up Lyxor’s digital transformation and supporting its commercial development.

He is also in charge of strengthening Lyxor’s presence on the distribution side.

Based in Paris, Theulot reports to Guilhem Tosi, head of Products, Solutions and Legal and a member of Lyxor’s executive board.

Prior to joining Lyxor, Theulot was head of Marketing and Development for the Retail Partners & Investment Solutions business line at the Amundi Group for four years.

After starting his career at the Paribas Group, he spent some ten years in various marketing/partnerships managerial roles (Cardif, Cortal-Consors, Compagnie Bancaire).

He became senior vice-president e-business of AXA’s holding at the beginning of the 2000s and moved to Societe Generale in 2004 where he spent seven years as head of Savings Products for the French network.

Lyxor had €115.5bn in assets under management as of end March 2016.
