Mandarine Gestion highlights solidarity fund

French asset manager Mandarine Gestion has reviewed its Mandarine Capital Solidaire fund five years after its inception.

The fund is a French investment capital product (FCPR) and invests in socially responsible organisms, with the aim of providing an answer to the financing needs of solidarity structures and organisms.

It is managed by Patrick Savadoux, head of SRI and Solidarity Investment at Mandarine Gestion, with at least 60% of the fund exposed to unlisted securities issued by these organisms.

Almost 65% of the portfolio (€1.4m) are currently invested in the financing of 12 solidarity structures, such as MicroDon which enables citizens to make micro-donations through payslips and bills.

Total assets invested in Mandarine Capital Solidaire amount to €2.2m as at 31 May 2015.

Mandarine Gestion has €2.4bn of assets under management as at 31 May 2015.
