Marc Romano joins Rothschild HDF Investment Solutions
Rothschild & Cie Gestion has appointed Marc Romano as chief executive officer of Rothschild HDF Investment Solutions, the new entity resulting from the merger of its multi-management activities with HDF Finance.
Pierre Lenders will leave his position as CEO as of September 7th to pursue other personal interests. However, he will continue to collaborate on Socially Responsible Investment issues with Rothschild HDF Investment Solutions, through an agreement of cooperation with his own company Prius Ltd.
Romano, 44, an alumnus of the Ecole Normale Supérieure, is graduate from the French Institute of Actuaries and holds a Phd in applied mathematics.
He was CEO of Schröders NewFinance Capital, a subsidiary of Schröders plc, specializing in alternative multi-management. Previously he held senior positions in the Crédit Agricole group, including as CEO of all multi-management activities of Crédit Agricole Asset Management, deputy CEO of Crédit Agricole Structured Asset Management and Managing Director of Calyon.
Rothschild HDF Investment Solutions, with some €4bn assets under management at end July, offers open architecture structured via commingled or dedicated funds, mandates, or portfolios of managed accounts, and in all asset classes.
The firm is a signatory of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment, and integrates socially responsible investment at the heart of its solutions.
