New AM head appointed at Caisse des Dépôts

Eric Lombard, chief executive officer French public financial institution Caisse des Dépôts, has announced the overhaul of Caisse des Dépôts’ management bodies.

Olivier Mareuse has been appointed head of Savings Funds and Asset Management of the institution.

Mareuse joined Caisse des Dépôts in 1988. He held several executive roles at the institution’s branch CNP Assurances, having driven the reform of CNP’s status from 1991 to 1993 among others.

Between 1993 and 1998, Mareuse was in charge of CNP’s strategy and investor relations. He oversaw the listing of CNP Assurances on Euronext Paris.

Then Mareuse became chief investment officer of CNP Assurances in 1998, a role he held until 2010. At that date, he was appointed financial director of Caisse des Dépôts before being appointed head of Savings Funds in 2016.
