Ossiam adds two to French sales team

Ossiam, the Paris-based smart beta investment manager and affiliate of Natixis Global Asset Management (NGAM), has appointed two new sales people to cover French wholesale distribution and institutional clients.

Michel Prouteau joins as French institutional sales director. He was previously at Deutsche Bank where he was a director in the bank’s Equity Structuring Group in London. Before Deutsche Bank, he spent 19 years with Société Générale in roles involving asset structuring, acquisitions, audit, client management and business development.

Ossiam has also appointed Julien Valarcher to develop and manage customer relationships with French private banks, wealth managers and global asset managers. Valarcher spent four years with Oddo Corporate Finance, and holds a Master’s degree in Financial Markets and Wealth Management from the Institute of Business Administration of Clermont-Ferrand, Auvergne University.

Both will report to Isabelle Bourcier, head of Business Development for Ossiam.
