Primonial appoints director for new IFA-focused business

Stefan de Quelen has been appointed director of Primonial Partenaires, a new entity recently launched by French manager Primonial and dedicated to independent financial advisors.

Quelen joined Primonial group in 2013 and was heading the external partnerships team. He was responsible for sales towards IFAs.

Formerly, he was head of External Sales at Natixis AM and sales director at Fidelity International.

Quelen started his career at Barclays in 1993 before being appointed deputy director of Robeco bank where he was in charge of the IFA business.

Primonial totalled €9bn of assets under management and advisory as at end 2014. The manager recorded over €2.8bn inflows in 2014.
