Sycomore AM CEO steps down

Laurent Deltour, co-founder and CEO of Sycomore AM, has relinquished his role on 9 April 2018, after he announced he was to retire at the last shareholders’ meeting of the Paris-based boutique.

It is understood the governance model of the firm will remain collegial and that Sycomore AM has set up a rotating chairmanship, which will initially be held by Emeric Préaubert.

Deltour will continue to be a shareholder and director of Sycomore AM. He will pursue his work, particularly with the Fondation Sycomore while Christine Kolb, Emeric Préaubert and Cyril Charlot will ensure the management of the boutique.

“Over the past 17 years, Sycomore AM’s assets under management have grown steadily and I am hopeful they will record similar growth over the next 17 years. Our pioneering approach to responsible investment, initiated 10 years ago, means that Sycomore AM has all it takes to become a reference on the European SRI market” said Deltour.

Sycomore AM was established in 2001 and tallies 22 fund manager-analysts.
