Truffle Capital appoints new chairman
Paris-based venture capital firm Truffle Capital has appointed Patrick Kron as new chairman succeeding Henri Moulard, who has now become honorary chairman.
Prior to joining Truffle Capital, Kron spent 13 years as chairman and CEO of French multinational Alstom, which he left in January 2016 to set up his own consulting business. Alongside his current role, . Kron is a member of the Boards of Directors of Bouygues and Sanofi, as well as of the Supervisory Board of Segula.
“After a 57-year career, I am now pleased to hand over the firm to Patrick Kron,” comments Henri Moulard, Co-founder and former Chairman of Truffle Capital. “Philippe Pouletty, Bernard-Louis Roques and I have succeeded in creating a friendly, effective and lasting partnership over the past 15 years.”
Kron comments on his appointment: “We plan on continuing Truffle’s development by raising more funds and integrating institutional investors and family offices. I look forward to contributing to the creation and growth of young SMEs by focusing on high-tech companies, notably in France, with strong global growth potential.”
