Twenty First Capital appoints co-head of Asset Management

French asset manager Twenty First Capital has appointed Eric Mookherjee as co-head of Asset Management. He will also be responsible for the emerging markets expertise which includes three funds.

Mookherjee is the founder and chairman of Shânti Asset Management, established in 2002 and specialised in emerging markets especially in India and in the Asean zone.

Shânti AM became a boutique of Twenty First Capital in November 2014 after joining GEFIP in March 2014.

Formerly, Mookherjee worked as head of Equities and Research at Credit Lyonnais Asset Management.

Based in Paris, Twenty First Capital posts €630m of assets under management as at 31 December 2014 and targets institutional investors as well as private clients.
