Vega IM’s head of Fund Advisory leaves

Céline Kalfa who was head of Fund Advisory at Paris based Vega Investment Managers (Vega IM) has recently left the firm, InvestmentEurope can reveal.

Vega IM is Natixis’ centre for multimanagement and fund selection since January 2013, having resulted from the merger between Natixis Multimanagers and 1818 Gestion.

Kalfa headed the fund advisory department since its creation in January 2013. Between 2010 and 2013, she was head of Fund Advisory at Natixis Multimanagers.

Kalfa has not been replaced yet. Andreas Pavlidis and Stéphane Miredin are still operating fund selection and advisory for Natixis’ entities.

Reshuffles are also pending in the multimanagement department of Vega IM, which manages traditional, diversified and alternative funds of funds.

The firm is said to consider a shutdown of its alternative multimanagement business after assets under management dropped dramatically and former Vega IM’s head of Alternative Investments Vincent Batailler left the company earlier this year after eight years in this role.
