French AM fintech appoints executive chairman

French asset management fintech Yomoni has appointed Sébastien d’Ornano as executive chairman.

He will take up his new duties as from 2 May 2016.

D’Ornano will work alongside Mourtaza Asad Syed and Laurent Girard, who co-founded Yomoni at the end of 2014.

D’Ornano joins from La Financière de l’Echiquier where he spent 12 years, where he was chief operating officer and member of the manager’s executive committee. He helped at developing the firm’s business.

He started his career at Deloitte in 1999.
