French boutique appoints ESG head

French boutique DNCA Investments, a boutique of Natixis Global Asset Management has built ESG department and appointed Léa Dunand-Chatellet as the new head of Sustainable Investments. From September, DNCA Investments will then start with its own sustainable fund range.

Following the signing of the Principles for Responsible Investments (PRI) last year, the establishment of a separate sustainability department is the next step. The portfolio management department is designed to assist fund managers by providing ESG-relevant information.

Dunand-Chatellet began her professional career in 2005 at Oddo Securities. In 2010 she became portfolio manager and head of ESG Research at Sycomore Asset Management. There she developed a number of SRI funds with assets under management of €700m. In 2015, Dunand-Chatellet joined Mirova as chief investment officer in equities, where she led a team of ten portfolio managers.

The fund company, which is part of Natixis Investment Managers and is headquartered in Paris, currently manages assets of €26.5bn.
