Generali Investments launches new diversified bond fund

Generali Investments has launched Bridge 11-2021 which is a fixed income sub-fund of its Luxembourg-domiciled Sicav Generali Investments Global Solutions Fund.

It seeks to deliver an annual dividend and capital preservation at maturity in 2021.

The Bridge 11-2021 fund consists of a concentrated portfolio of 35 to 45 bonds – investment grade and high yield – issued in euros or dollars.

The launch of the strategy follows these of Bridge 2021 in February 2016 which share the same features with Bridge 11-2021.

The fund is co-managed by Fabrizio Viola and Stefano Perin, backed by Generali Investments’ macro research team.

Bridge 11-2021 is distributed in Italy, France and Spain. Subscriptions to the fund are opened until 18 November.

Commenting the launch, Andrea Favaloro, head of Sales & Marketing of Generali Investments, said the new strategy bolsters Generali Investments’ buy & hold fixed income offering.

As of 30 June 2016, Generali Investments has over €450bn in assets under management of which €379bn are managed in fixed income strategies.
