German private bank to open US subsidiary

Bankhaus Lampe, a German private bank located in Bielefeld has announced the launch of its US presence during its annual press briefing.

The bank has been working to establish its presence in North America since 2013, it will be aimed at offering advice to institutional investors. The launch of the new office is still subject to regulatory approval by US Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

“There is a lot of interest in the German Mittelstand and investing in German businesses. Bankhaus Lampe offers competence in equity investing, particularly when it comes to investing in German small and mid caps and is therefore a popular point of reference among US investors” explains Stephan Schüller,spokesperson and general partner of Bankhaus Lampe.
