Allianz GI adjusts senior management roles in Europe
Allianz Global Investors has created six new management roles intended to boost European business development in light of what it sees as an increasingly harmonised single market.
Tobias Pross will head institutional business development for Europe.
Nick Smith will be responsible for retail sales in Europe ex-Germany, while colleague Mathias Müller will be responsible for retail sales in Germany.
Thomas Linker will manage relationships with multinational distributors.
Frank Wolfert will be responsible for relations within the Allianz Group.
Martin Keil will head a ‘developing regions’ division, which forms part of the new European structure.
All six managers report to James Dilworth (pictured), CEO Europe at AllianzGI.
Dilworth said that the new structure came in response to what is seen as an increasingly harmonised single market.
“This drive towards simplification and harmonisation is likewise reflected in our corporate structures where we are reducing the number of legal units, as well as managerial responsibility which we are progressively reshaping so as to leave behind obsolete national borders.”
