AllianzGI launches global fixed income fund

Allianz Global Investors (Allianz GI) has launched a new global fixed income fund, which offers investors access to a combination of inflation indexed bonds, mortgage backed securities, high yield and emerging market bonds.

The fund is managed by Brian Tomlinson and characterised by a flexible approach to the duration of fixed income holdings, with maturities ranging from two to nine years. The fund currency is USD although it also offers euro denominated share classes.

It uses the JPMorgan Government Bond Index as its benchmark. Tomlinson already manages two Allianz GI Bond funds aimed at investors in France and Italy.
