Aquila Capital taps Axa Rosenberg for quant expert
Hamburg’s Aquila Capital has recruited a quantitative investment specialist from Axa Rosenberg as a senior fund manager.
The $5bn alternative investment firm with over 80 investment specialists will be joined by Armin Gudat (pictured), who left AXA Rosenberg, a global equity investment manager.
While there, Gudat was responsible for managing relationships with German institutional investors, as well as those elsewhere in continental Europe and the Middle East.
For over 20 years he has worked across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, currencies, asset allocation and hedge funds. He also held roles at Dresdner Bank and Westfalenbank, WestCapital, Quorum Capital Management and WestLB Asset Management in the UK.
Roman Rosslenbroich, Aquila’s co-founder and CEO, said: “This appointment underlines our commitment to driving further growth across our quantitative product family by expanding the breadth of our established team of investment experts.”
