Deutsche Bank PWM appoints two from HSBC

Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management has boosted its team serving the extremely wealthy in Great Britain by making two appointments from HSBC Private Bank.

Steve Whiting, managing director, and Oliver Peck, director, will manage a number of ultra-high net worth relationships, and focus on developing the wealth management unit’s lending services.

At HSBC Private Bank Whiting was a managing director and head of the UHNW onshore business, whereas Peck was an associate director within the same business.

They will both be based in London, reporting to Chris Hocking, head of the London UHNW team.

Together they have more than 25 years’ experience in private banking.

Juliet Wedderburn, head of Deutsche Bank PWM London, said their hiring “underlines our solid commitment to addressing the complex needs of our wealthiest clients”.
